Fedegbo was an ancient settlement situated close to ogbomoso but has today become part of Ogbomoso in Oriire local government of Oyo state. akintan was a prince of Fedegbo and had many brothers.As a result of succession dispute, he left his place of birth along with his wife, Moware and family to found a new settlement which he named Fedegbo, after his root.
History of ajayi ogidiolu ruling family of igbo-ora
Lajorun , a great hunter migrated from Ikole- ekiti and founded igbo-ora . he married olupeeti, the daughter of Baba aso who was the founder of iberekodo-Igbole. the marriage of lajorun and plupeeti was blessed with three children- Omobale,Okonu and Olugbekan. Olugbekan gave birth to Atambala ( Otaobola) and a female child named Abayomi. Subsequently after, Atambala became the Baale of Igbo-Ora. Some kilometers away from Igbo-Ora,a settlement had been founded by Akintan and his family. Akintan migrated from Fedegbo village which has today become part of Ogbomosho.
The settlement founded by Akintan was named after his root, Fedegbo where he came from. The new Fedegbo shared boundaries with communities in Oke Oyan and Yewa region of Ogun State. It was close to the border areas with Republic of Benin .
History of igbo-ora
Oral history revealed that lajorun ajamu edu, a native of ikole ekiti was a hunter and that his mother, oyepeju jokotade was a daughter of alaafin ajagbo of old oyo kingdom . oyepeju jokotade who was betrothed to elekole ,the ruler of ikole ekiti by her father gave birth to lajorun . alaafin ajagbo was one of the most prominent kings of old oyo who reigned in the 17th century and was recorded to be on the throne for several decades .he was also reputed to have established the position of Are ona Kakanfo ,the supreme commander of yoruba army .
Ajagbo’s mother was said to be an indigene of iwere ile , an ancient town in oyo north .it was said that he put in place a convenant fortified by curses to forbid any are ona kakanfo from attacking or waging war against his maternal town , iwere ile .this convenant was violated by one of his successors much later, alaafin Aole (1789-1796) when he ordered afonja ,his are Ona kakanfo to attack iwere ile .

Majority of the population engaged in peasant farming. he had three children viz. akinyemi, akinhanmi and abikanlu( female). akinhanmi gave birth to obayomi and olaleye. akinyemi gave birth to ojo. ojo had five children whose names were ikudaisi, ajayi ogidiolu, oladokun, adesokan and adekanmbi.
